2018 01 29 – One of the large shovels digs overburden, as haul trucks await to be loaded; a full moon shines over overhead.

2018 01 30 – A beautiful sunrise over the open pit gold mine, the colours changed rapidly.

2018 01 31 – Mt. McKay is seen in the foreground with Thunder Bay in the background. The city of Thunder Bay took shape in 1970 when two cities: Fort William and Port Arthur amalgamated.
