Photography is the documentation of life, once that shutter has clicked, the moment has passed and history is made. Some may be familiar with project 365, a simple concept, take a photograph everyday for 365 days. This blog is an extension of the project; the goal is to keep photographing every day, who knows how long? It is an excellent archive to look back on, see how things change. Change can be subtle, such as different coloured flowers being planted each year to a changing landscape with buildings being demolished and new ones built. This blog archives life’s diversity and my encounters.

2016 10 03 – A student enjoys a quiet space behind Gordon Hall while doing some work on her laptop. Built in 1911, it was home to the chemistry department for 90 years.

2016 10 04 – Kingston Police take measurements at an accident on Taylor Kidd Boulevard near Liston Drive. According to the Kingston Police website a total of 130 calls were reported that day, 5 of which were motor vehicle collisions.

2016 10 05 – A fall coloured maple leaf is contrasted against the hood of a dark car at a rest stop near Port Hope.

2016 10 06 – Occupational therapy masters students at the corner of University Avenue and Union Street discuss various aspects of occupational therapy to students as they walk by. October is the national occupational therapy month in Canada.

2016 10 07 – Beautiful cumulus clouds create a pattern in the sky above a farm field in upper New York State.

2016 10 08 – Two guys look through pockets in the rock at the Herkimer Diamond Mine in Middleville, New York. They are looking for double terminated quartz crystals, known as Herkimer diamonds.

2016 10 09 – A guy hammers the rock face at the Crystal Grove Herkimer diamond mine north of Johnsville, New York. Everyone is looking for double terminated quartz crystals known as Herkimer diamonds.
