Photography is the documentation of life, once that shutter has clicked, the moment has passed and history is made. Some may be familiar with project 365, a simple concept, take a photograph everyday for 365 days. This blog is an extension of the project; the goal is to keep photographing every day, who knows how long? It is an excellent archive to look back on, see how things change. Change can be subtle, such as different coloured flowers being planted each year to a changing landscape with buildings being demolished and new ones built. This blog archives life’s diversity and my encounters.

2016 06 13 – Ashley holds Luna, a young Pyrenean Mountain Dog, during a break at a Queen’s intramural baseball game. They are related to a group of dogs known as the European livestock guardian dogs.

2016 06 14 – A waxing gibbous moon, 71% visibility, is seen behind Miller Hall at Queen’s University. The word waxing means the moon is growing while gibbous means it is more then half full.

2016 06 15 – A mailbox stands amongst the trees along the side of Charland Road in Elgin, Ontario.

2016 06 16 – Chris poses for a photograph during a fun model photo shoot near the old Rockwood Asylum in Kingston, Ontario.

2016 06 17 – Tim D’eon of Wintersleep, an indie rock band, performs during Rockin the Square at Springer Market Square in downtown Kingston. The band formed in 2001 and originates from Halifax, Nova Scotia.

2016 06 18 – Heather, James and Trish enjoy the beautiful sun while overlooking the Rideau Waterway on top of Rock Dunder. This beautiful 3.9km trail is located approximately 30 minutes north of Kingston.

2016 06 19 – Two baskets of freshly picked strawberries sit between two rows of strawberry plants at the Fruition Berry Farm off Highway 15.  They started picking on June 16th this year.
