Photography is the documentation of life, once that shutter has clicked, the moment has passed and history is made. Some may be familiar with project 365, a simple concept, take a photograph everyday for 365 days. This blog is an extension of the project; the goal is to keep photographing every day, who knows how long? It is an excellent archive to look back on, see how things change. Change can be subtle, such as different coloured flowers being planted each year to a changing landscape with buildings being demolished and new ones built. This blog archives life’s diversity and my encounters.

2016 05 30 – A Canada Goose (Branta Canadensis) provides some shade for its goslings at Breakwater Park along the shoreline of Lake Ontario in Kingston.

2016 06 01 – Queen’s geological engineering students enjoy a reception at Miller Hall prior to their convocation later on in the evening.

2016 06 02 – A teddy bear awaits a new home outside of Grant Hall during Queen’s University convocation ceremonies.

2016 06 03 – A person makes their way along a path beside Battery Park in downtown Kingston. This park was built in 2010 on what was known as ‘Block D.’

2016 06 04 – Heather helps put up a tent at Kurt and Mara’s during a wedding invitation party at their home near Elgin. The wedding is planned for June 1st, 2018.

2016 06 05 – This is a garnet that was recently found at the Aqua Rose Beryl Pit in Quadeville, Ontario. According to the American Gem Society garnet is the January birthstone.
