Photography is the documentation of life, once that shutter has clicked, the moment has passed and history is made. Some may be familiar with project 365, a simple concept, take a photograph everyday for 365 days. This blog is an extension of the project; the goal is to keep photographing every day, who knows how long? It is an excellent archive to look back on, see how things change. Change can be subtle, such as different coloured flowers being planted each year to a changing landscape with buildings being demolished and new ones built. This blog archives life’s diversity and my encounters.

2013 10 01 – A student locks her bike up outside of Ellis Hall. Queen’s has a “Bikes and Board” shop located in the lower level of the John Deutsch University Centre. Interested check them out on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheQueensBikeShop

2013 10 02 – Riley Filion of Queen’s Gaels keeps the ball ahead of an RMC player. The Gaels defeated RMC 8-0.

2013 10 03 – A student holds a puppy, one of three being cared for by Queen’s students for a month. These puppies are from the Kingston Humane Society. If you are interested in learning more check out their website: http://www.kingstonhumanesociety.ca/index.cfm?page=foster

2013 10 04 – Queen’s #4, Liz Boag tries to stop University of Prince Edward Island’s #14 Danielle MacDonald during the 2013 Tindall Invitational Tournament. Queen’s defeated UPEI 58-50.

2013 10 05 – Alumni get their photo taken on the Queen’s University sign outside the John Deutsch University Centre. Homecoming returned this year after being cancelled for the past 4 years. Homecoming is split into two weekends, this past weekend and the weekend of October 18-20th.

2013 10 06 – Police watch over a crowd of people on Aberdeen Street, the unofficial party that occurs during Homecoming celebrations. It was reported that over the night there were 16 arrests and 133 tickets.

2013 10 06 – A competitor jumps over a gate while at the Queen’s Ontario University Equestrian Association show at Dreamcatcher Farm near Inverary.
