Photography is the documentation of life, once that shutter has clicked, the moment has passed and history is made. Some may be familiar with project 365, a simple concept, take a photograph everyday for 365 days. This blog is an extension of the project; the goal is to keep photographing every day, who knows how long? It is an excellent archive to look back on, see how things change. Change can be subtle, such as different coloured flowers being planted each year to a changing landscape with buildings being demolished and new ones built. This blog archives life’s diversity and my encounters.

2018 04 30 – The CN Tower stands out in the background behind the bowsprit of a schooner in downtown Toronto.

2018 05 01 – A bull, cow and calf enjoy some water along the side of Highway 11 west of Thunder Bay. Moose consume a lot of food; on average a grown moose will consume approximately 73 pounds of vegetation a day during the summer months.

2018 05 02 – An ice waterfall is the last signs of winter in the area, as it clings to the southeastern corner of the pit.

2018 05 03 – Fog engulfs the mine as two drills begin working on the 270 bench. The fog was very dense in the morning and cleared up within an hour.

2018 05 04 – Two granite samples sit outside the Baron site. These samples come from near by and show a contact between two different granitic intrusions with different cooling rates.

2018 05 05 – The rising sun colours the sky and gives texture to these beautiful stratocumulus clouds north of Fort Frances, Ontario.

2018 05 06 – A blast hole sample awaits collecting in front of a drill on the 310 bench in the northwestern corner of the mine.
