Photography is the documentation of life, once that shutter has clicked, the moment has passed and history is made. Some may be familiar with project 365, a simple concept, take a photograph everyday for 365 days. This blog is an extension of the project; the goal is to keep photographing every day, who knows how long? It is an excellent archive to look back on, see how things change. Change can be subtle, such as different coloured flowers being planted each year to a changing landscape with buildings being demolished and new ones built. This blog archives life’s diversity and my encounters.

2016 06 27 – Emily kayaks along the shoreline of Lake Ontario near downtown Kingston. We rented kayaks from Ahoy Rentals off Ontario Street.

2016 06 28 – A lady and her dog make their way along the shoreline of Breakwater Park in Kingston. The park was named after the breakwater that runs parallel to the recreational pathway.

2016 06 29 – Mike is about to connect with the softball during a Queen’s intramural baseball game at City Park.

2016 06 30 – The Riq Turner Band performs at the Gananoque Rib Fest. The band members are Riq Turner (lead vocals), Tyler MacDonald (lead guitar), Andy Bowes (bass guitar) and Graham “Shiny” Brown (Drums).

2016 07 01 – A person celebrates Canada Day in Confederation Park. Several hundred people dawned the red and white colours to celebrate and partake in this year’s red and white parade.

2016 07 02 – Bethany, Logan and Nina watch fireworks light up the night sky in Bath, Ontario. The fireworks were intended for Canada Day but heavy winds resulted in postponement.

2016 07 03 – Various people examine sterling silver trinkets and kitchen utensils while attending the 5th annual ArtFest Kingston in City Park. The festival offered over 150 vendors with craftwork in pottery, painting, jewelry and more.
