Photography is the documentation of life, once that shutter has clicked, the moment has passed and history is made. Some may be familiar with project 365, a simple concept, take a photograph everyday for 365 days. This blog is an extension of the project; the goal is to keep photographing every day, who knows how long? It is an excellent archive to look back on, see how things change. Change can be subtle, such as different coloured flowers being planted each year to a changing landscape with buildings being demolished and new ones built. This blog archives life’s diversity and my encounters.

2015 07 20 – Shane performs a trick while kiteboarding off the pier at Break Water Park in Kingston, Ontario. Based on HZ Herald in New Zealand 2013, the global kiteboarding industry is worth $321 million.

2015 07 21 – A nice warm tone and the shadow of a tree is cast upon a fence off Chancery Street as the sunsets. On this day the sun was approximately 152.005 million kilometers away and provided 13:03:08 hours of sunlight.

2015 07 22 – A plant grows between two stairway blocks at the back entrance of Millar Hall, the geology building at Queen’s University. Construction workers recently finished reconstructing the lower portion of the stairs.

2015 07 23 – I am cutting slices into a potato to put margarine and onions while preparing supper. After putting the ingredients in, you simply wrap the potatoes in tinfoil and put them in the oven.

2015 07 24 – Thousands of stars backdrop a tree late at night at the Bancroft Tent & Trailer Park. It is estimated that 100 billion stars make up the Milky Way, although other estimates come in around 400 billion.

2015 07 25 – Mist rises up through the trees as rain drops hit Marble Lake late in the afternoon at the Bancroft Tent & Trailer Park. Numerous heavy rainstorms continued throughout the day.

2015 07 26 – Chris looks through numerous un-cracked geodes at the 19th annual Bancroft Gem & Mineral Show. This is an excellent show to buy mineral and fossil specimens.
