Photography is the documentation of life, once that shutter has clicked, the moment has passed and history is made. Some may be familiar with project 365, a simple concept, take a photograph everyday for 365 days. This blog is an extension of the project; the goal is to keep photographing every day, who knows how long? It is an excellent archive to look back on, see how things change. Change can be subtle, such as different coloured flowers being planted each year to a changing landscape with buildings being demolished and new ones built. This blog archives life’s diversity and my encounters.

2015 07 13 - An inukshuk stands along the shoreline of Lake Ontario, as several people are seen paddle boarding in the background. The inukshuk is an Inuit structure typically marking the presence of something or indicating direction. In this case it is likely people having fun playing with rocks.

2015 07 14 – An intramural baseball player with Queen’s University pitches the ball during a game at the West Campus field. Intramurals comes from the two Latin words intra muros meaning “within walls.”

2015 07 15 – Members of the Canadian sailing team (CAN1185) take down their main sail in front of the Kingston Marina.

2015 07 16 – A guy from Peterborough repositions some drift wood on a structure he built over three days at Break Water Park in Kingston. Visiting a friend he would bike down and add new features each day.

2015 07 17 – Heavy rain comes down late at night as a car is about to go through the intersection of Bayridge Drive and Taylor Kidd Boulevard after the light changed.

2015 07 18 – Approximately 41,000 fans fill the Rogers Centre to watch the Toronto Blue Jays take on the Tampa Bay Rays. The Rays tied the Jays 2-2 in the 7th inning, eventually taking the lead in the 8th, winning the game 3-2.

2015 07 19 – Members of Queen’s Walkhome get ready to pull a fire truck during the 3rd annual Pull Together for Epilepsy in front of City Hall.
