Photography is the documentation of life, once that shutter has clicked, the moment has passed and history is made. Some may be familiar with project 365, a simple concept, take a photograph everyday for 365 days. This blog is an extension of the project; the goal is to keep photographing every day, who knows how long? It is an excellent archive to look back on, see how things change. Change can be subtle, such as different coloured flowers being planted each year to a changing landscape with buildings being demolished and new ones built. This blog archives life’s diversity and my encounters.

2015 04 13 - A person sits on a bench at Confederation Park while enjoying the beautiful weather. Many people enjoyed the weather as temperatures went above 15 degrees Celsius by mid-afternoon.

2015 04 14 – A member of the Napanee Golden Hawks scores a try while taking on the Smith Falls RedHawks during a regional pre-season tournament. The Golden Hawks defeated the RedHawks 37-0.

2015 04 15 – A student from Arnprior District High School takes off towards the goal line while taking on St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School during a pre-season rugby tournament. Arnprior maintained control of the game winning 25-0.

2015 04 16 – Three Queen’s students jump off the pier at Break Water Park, as thin sheets of ice float in the background. The lake temperature is around 4 degrees Celsius (40 Fahrenheit).

2015 04 17 – A girl from Sydenham High School moves the ball forward while a girl from St. Francis Xavier High School goes to stop her during a pre-season tournament at Queen’s University. St. FX won the game 7-0.

2015 04 18 – A guy brings in his newly bought fishing boat after taking it out on the Lake for the first time. There are 145 fish species in Ontario with approximately 250,000 lakes.

2015 04 19 – Two people look at various items on a table during the Kingston Antique Market at Springer Market Square. The word antique comes from two Latin words, ante meaning before and anticus meaning former or ancient.
