Photography is the documentation of life, once that shutter has clicked, the moment has passed and history is made. Some may be familiar with project 365, a simple concept, take a photograph everyday for 365 days. This blog is an extension of the project; the goal is to keep photographing every day, who knows how long? It is an excellent archive to look back on, see how things change. Change can be subtle, such as different coloured flowers being planted each year to a changing landscape with buildings being demolished and new ones built. This blog archives life’s diversity and my encounters.

2015 03 30 – Queen’s Student Constables, management and senior staff, celebrate at the Portsmouth Olympic Harbour during the end of the year dinner. The service has been at Queen’s for 79 years, establishing in 1936.

2015 03 31 – Residence staff from Jean Royce Hall and Harkness chat during the final team meeting, as the school year comes to an end.

2015 04 01 – A yellow crocus grows in a garden beside the Agnes Etherington Art Centre, a sign that spring is trying to make an appearance.  It is a member of the iris family, having more than 90 species.

2015 04 02 – Members of Queen’s Climbing Club executive raise a glass thanking the members for an excellent year. The banquet at the Brew Pub officially wrapped up the 2014-2015 year, passing on the club to the new executives.

2015 04 03 – Rosy stands on a pillow at my Nanny’s house during an Easter dinner. Shih Tzu dogs are one of the oldest bread dogs with found bones dating back to 8000 BC.

2015 04 04 – Two of my cousins paint hollowed out chicken eggs for Easter. There are many interpretations for why eggs are a symbol at Easter; one reason is that it symbolizes the resurrection of Christ.
