2015 01 13 – A brown bat moves along the outside steps of
Bruce Wing as temperatures hover around -20°C.
This bat does not appear to have White-Nose Syndrome (WNS) but it has been a
major issue for bat populations. The disease causes the bat to wake up the
winter, depleting it of its fat reserves.
Sadly I came across the bat today frozen (2015 01 19)
