Photography is the documentation of life, once that shutter has clicked, the moment has passed and history is made. Some may be familiar with project 365, a simple concept, take a photograph everyday for 365 days. This blog is an extension of the project; the goal is to keep photographing every day, who knows how long? It is an excellent archive to look back on, see how things change. Change can be subtle, such as different coloured flowers being planted each year to a changing landscape with buildings being demolished and new ones built. This blog archives life’s diversity and my encounters.

2014 08 25 - Jean Royce Hall, a series of “houses” that make up one of the many residences at Queen’s University located on west campus. This will be my home for the next 8 months while being a residence don.

2014 08 26 – Various breakfast foods at the Ban Righ Cafeteria during residence don training. Ban Righ is the oldest residence at Queen’s University built between 1923 – 25.

2014 08 27 – Victoria Hall stands in the background amongst the beautiful blue sky. It is the largest of the Queen’s residence and was named after Queen Victoria.

2014 08 28 – Grant Hall is one of the most notable buildings on Queen’s campus. It was used as a military hospital during the First World War.

 2014 08 29 – Cam poses for a photograph at the end of residence life training banquet at Ban Righ Hall. It signifies the end of the last two weeks of seminars, practical role-playing and team building.

2014 08 30 – Kerri gets her photograph taken at Fairfield Park near Amherstview. She has a neurological disorder that is causing the spine to swell and to loose control of her hind legs.

2014 08 31 – A group of first year University students at Queen’s University get to know one another during an ice breaker activity. Over the next three days they will be learning various aspects of Queen’s.
