2016 11 21 – Trees are covered in a fresh layer of snow making a
beautiful wintery landscape as a student makes her way down Arch Street.

2016 11 22 – Students hold pieces of a bridge that fell apart in a wind
tunnel test during a Queen’s Engineering class.

2016 11 23 – Snow rests on a spruce tree branch in the
woods along the Rideau Trail off King Street West. There are 35 species of
spruce in the family Pinaceae (pines).

2016 11 24 – A display of apatite crystals, a phosphate mineral with the
formula Ca5(PO4)3(F,Cl,OH). It is one of the
natural sources used for phosphate fertilizers.

2016 11 25 – Young members of the Kingston Lapidary and Mineral Club
look at a spinel crystal collected by Brad Wilson. He collected this crystal
while in the high arctic this past summer.

2016 11 26 – Queen’s Gael #16, Slater Duggett makes his way between
McGill Redmen players during a regular season game at the Memorial Centre.
Queen’s kept control of the puck winning 4-0.
