2016 05 09 – A red squirrel holds on to a branch just off the Kingston
& Pembroke Trail. The trail covers 15km starting near the Little Catraqui
Conservation area at Highway 401 and carries on to Orser Road north of
Kingston.

2016 05 10 – A Kingston Blues girl’s rugby player tackles a La Salle
Black Knights player during a regular season game at Queen Elizabeth
Collegiate. The Black Knights defeated the Blues 12-0.

2016 05 11 – A specimen of andradite garnet (Ca3Fe2(SiO4)3)
recently collected from the Marmoraton Iron Mine in Marmora, Ontario. This specimen
also has epidote, magnetite and pyrite.

2016 05 12 – Newly planted Tulipa Triumph Gavota brighten up the flower
bed in front of the John Deutsch University Center at Queen’s University.

2016 05 13 – A Holy Cross Crusader and a Regiopolis-Notre Dame Panther
reach for the ball during a line-out at the KASSAA semifinal game. The Panthers
maintained control of the ball shutting out the Crusaders 27-0.
