Photography is the documentation of life, once that shutter has clicked, the moment has passed and history is made. Some may be familiar with project 365, a simple concept, take a photograph everyday for 365 days. This blog is an extension of the project; the goal is to keep photographing every day, who knows how long? It is an excellent archive to look back on, see how things change. Change can be subtle, such as different coloured flowers being planted each year to a changing landscape with buildings being demolished and new ones built. This blog archives life’s diversity and my encounters.

2016 02 29 – Male perch gonads sit outside of its body during a BIOL 202, Diversity of Life, dissection.

2016 03 01 – A thin section from a peridotite xenolith is about to go into the scanning electron microscope (SEM). Chemical compositions can be determined by element excitation by x-rays.

2016 03 02 – Ice is thrust up as it presses up against other ice several meters off the shoreline of Breakwater Park.

2016 03 04 – A painting covers the side of a building along Widmer Street in downtown Toronto.

2016 03 05 – People cross the streetcar tracks beside the Queens Quay West in Toronto. These are older streetcars; in August 2015 Toronto started the transition to their new cars.

2016 03 06 – Men in suits make their along the crosswalk towards the Metro Toronto Convention Centre north building during the 84th annual Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada Convention.
