Photography is the documentation of life, once that shutter has clicked, the moment has passed and history is made. Some may be familiar with project 365, a simple concept, take a photograph everyday for 365 days. This blog is an extension of the project; the goal is to keep photographing every day, who knows how long? It is an excellent archive to look back on, see how things change. Change can be subtle, such as different coloured flowers being planted each year to a changing landscape with buildings being demolished and new ones built. This blog archives life’s diversity and my encounters.

2016 02 08 – A member of our BIOL202 bench group gets ready to dissect a sea cucumber during Monday afternoon lab. There are approximately 1,700 different species and can be found in most oceans.

2016 02 10 – Fresh snow covers a bench outside of the John Deutsch University Centre at Queen’s University.

2016 02 11 – Two students take a selfie on a cold evening as the sunsets in the background. Light scattering through the atmosphere produces the beautiful red and orange colours seen during a setting sun.

2016 02 13 – Queen’s Gael #6, Mike Shoveller makes his way through Windsor Lancer #11, Marko Kovac and #22, Tyler Persaud during a regular season game at the Queen’s ARC. The Lancers defeated the Gaels 93-87.

2016 02 14 – People make their way up Rue d’Auteuil in Quebec City on a frigid Sunday afternoon. Some places in Quebec saw temperatures plummet below -46°C (-50.8F).
