Photography is the documentation of life, once that shutter has clicked, the moment has passed and history is made. Some may be familiar with project 365, a simple concept, take a photograph everyday for 365 days. This blog is an extension of the project; the goal is to keep photographing every day, who knows how long? It is an excellent archive to look back on, see how things change. Change can be subtle, such as different coloured flowers being planted each year to a changing landscape with buildings being demolished and new ones built. This blog archives life’s diversity and my encounters.

2016 Week 02 Photos

2016 Week 02 Photographs

2016 01 04 – A guy is silhouetted in between the Time sculpture at Break Water Park, as the sunsets on a cold January evening. This was the coldest day so far, with temperatures around -20°C.

2016 01 05 – A squirrel is silhouetted against a cloudy sky at Summer Hill in Kingston, Ontario. A squirrel’s tail has three main purposes: protection, balance and communication.

2016 01 06 – A engineering students makes their way along the path beside Gordon-Brockington Hall wearing a swimsuit, sandals and his GPA. The task is to wear only those three items for the week. Upon completion they get the Frost Week bar.

2016 01 07 – Students walk along side University Avenue with Grant Hall in the background. It was built in honour of Principal George Munro Grant serving as the principal at Queen’s University for 25 years from 1877 to 1902.

2016 01 08 – The winding gravel path leading to Garden Walk Park in the west end of Kingston, Ontario.

2016 01 09 – Students get ready to bowl during a residence bowling night at Cloverleaf Lanes.
