Photography is the documentation of life, once that shutter has clicked, the moment has passed and history is made. Some may be familiar with project 365, a simple concept, take a photograph everyday for 365 days. This blog is an extension of the project; the goal is to keep photographing every day, who knows how long? It is an excellent archive to look back on, see how things change. Change can be subtle, such as different coloured flowers being planted each year to a changing landscape with buildings being demolished and new ones built. This blog archives life’s diversity and my encounters.

2015 10 26 – Kelly chats with our Residence Life Coordinator, Melyssa, during our team meeting at Ban Righ.

2015 10 27 – Beautiful fall coloured red Oak leaves (Quercus rubra) are cast against a beautiful blue sky. The Red Oak is Prince Edward Island’s provincial tree.

2015 10 28 – The remnants of Hurricane Patricia brought rain to Kingston making for a wet day. The hurricane initially came in on the western shores of Mexico as a category 5 hurricane.

2015 10 29 – Students figure out how to complete a cladogram during the second History of Life lab. A cladogram is a visual representation that shows the relationships amongst organisms.

2015 10 30 – A student makes their way along the path at Summer Hill with Botterell Hall in the background. Botterell Hall was completed in 1978 as a building for medical sciences and as a library.

2015 10 31 – Matteo Del Brocco of the Queen’s Gaels is tackled during the OUA-Quarter Finals game against the Carleton Ravens at Richardson Stadium. The Ravens maintained control winning 39 to 8. This was the last game at Richardson Stadium before it is torn down and revamped.

2015 11 01 – The goalie of the Queen’s Men’s water polo team pulls himself out of the water as a University of Toronto player lines up for the goal. Queen’s ended up loosing the match.
