Photography is the documentation of life, once that shutter has clicked, the moment has passed and history is made. Some may be familiar with project 365, a simple concept, take a photograph everyday for 365 days. This blog is an extension of the project; the goal is to keep photographing every day, who knows how long? It is an excellent archive to look back on, see how things change. Change can be subtle, such as different coloured flowers being planted each year to a changing landscape with buildings being demolished and new ones built. This blog archives life’s diversity and my encounters.

2014 11 03 - A few Queen’s geology students look over geological structures material as they prepare for a midterm on faulting.

2014 11 04 – Members of the Queen’s Bands perform outside Stauffer Library before Principal Woolf announced a $5 million donation by The Joyce Foundation. The donation will go towards bursaries helping Kingston and area students.

2014 11 05 – A sign indicating the direction to the Miller Museum is bathed in sunlight. The diagonal pattern produced by the window caught my eye.

2014 11 06 – Queen’s students watch on as firefighters enter Miller Hall. This is the first time in 5 years at Queen’s that a fire alarm has actually gone off unintended and while in class.

2014 11 07 – Alex Scarcello of the Queen’s women’s volleyball team bumps the ball while taking on the Royal Military College (RMC) Paladins at the Athletics and Recreational Centre. Queen’s took three straits sets to win the game.

2014 11 08 – A Queen’s student leaps off the pier at Break Water Park with a look of uncertainty during the Queen’s World Vision Polar Bear Dip Challenge. World Vision began in 1950 as the World Vision Inc. and then became World Vision International in 1966.
