Photography is the documentation of life, once that shutter has clicked, the moment has passed and history is made. Some may be familiar with project 365, a simple concept, take a photograph everyday for 365 days. This blog is an extension of the project; the goal is to keep photographing every day, who knows how long? It is an excellent archive to look back on, see how things change. Change can be subtle, such as different coloured flowers being planted each year to a changing landscape with buildings being demolished and new ones built. This blog archives life’s diversity and my encounters.

2013 Week 46 Photos

2013 Week 46 Photos
(24th week photographing daily)
By Corey Lablans Photography

-->
Started off photographing people walking around Queen’s campus and then veered away. It is difficult to stick with a theme during these last weeks of the semester. The next two weeks will likely be a random amalgamation of photographs. Starting in December I shall try for a theme week. Anyways here are last weeks photos:

-->
2013 11 11 – Students walk across the street at Union and University on Queen’s Campus. Later that night was the first sign of snow here in Kingston, as a few flakes fell.
-->
2013 11 12 – A Queen’s student bikes across University Avenue on this beautiful day. It was a nice crisp cool day with winds coming from the Northwest and a wind-chill around -7 degC, a sign that winter is on its way.
-->
2013 11 13 – Queen’s students walk down Earl Street beyond the Athletics and Recreational Centre.
-->
2013 11 14 – A Queen’s student spins a hula-hoop during a Health and Wellness Showcase in the Athletics and Recreational Centre main gym. The hula-hoop was invented in 1911 but the use of twirling something around ones waist has been around for a long time.
-->
2013 11 15 – Johnathan stands in front of the John Deutsch University Centre.

-->
2013 11 16 – Traffic drives down Princess Street just after work at 5:00 p.m. The sun was up for 9 hours 34 minutes and 44 seconds, setting at 4:37 p.m.
-->
2013 11 17 – A wide array of fossils spanning across a large time scale (400 Million Years) and a wide range of locations makes up a portion of my mineral and fossil collection. Approximately 1/3 of the fossils I found, 1/3 was given to me out collecting and the other 1/3 I purchased.
 THANK YOU
