2018 03 19 – A little mud darkens the melting snow along the pathway
leading to Lakehead University in Thunder Bay.

2018 03 20 – An inuksuk stands out on a rock outcrop along Highway 11
between Thunder Bay and Fort Frances. Unlike true Inuit inuksuit that serve a
purpose for navigation and certain identification, these are created for
fun.

2018 03 21 – One of the many large shovels scoop up
material from a blasted block at the mine. These shovels can fill a 220-tone
haul truck in approximately 2-bucket loads.

2018 03 22 – A drill awaits an operator while on the 280
bench at the mine.

2018 03 23 – The rays of sun, shine from behind the
Northeastern mine wall, as drills work away on a pattern.

2018 03 24 – Lime green cones stand out amongst the grey of the
surrounding rock, indicating that the pattern is either being loaded or is
loaded for blasting.

2018 03 25 – Yellow stakes are for non-acid generating
rock and orange are for potential acid-generating rock. These are two of the
seven possible colours that we spray paint the stakes used for ore grade
control.
