Ice Storm 2012

At some point early Thursday morning freezing rain began, by the time I woke up there was a good centimeter of ice covering everything, if not more. Clearing off my car was quite a bit of work as the thick ice required quite a bit of chipping away. I tried my best to clear all the ice off, including the roof. Clearing the roof quite important, as many drivers merely jump into their car and start driving. As I was headed down Bayridge Road I had my own experience of one of these drivers who did not remove the ice from their roof, a large sheet of ice flew off, dodging the ice I carried on.
Drive carefully and think of others.
