2016 03 14 – Numerous pairs of hands cover a dissected pigeon, as one
person tries to tear out the sternum. The sternum is modified breastbone acting
as the main attachment for flight muscles.

2016 03 15 – A silhouette of hydro and telephone lines behind Botterel
Hall, Queen’s University.

2016 03 16 – A cockatiel hides amongst a tree at Breakwater Park in
Kingston, Ontario; native to Australia.
This was someone’s pet that escaped. After taking it to the humane
society, the owner was reunited.

2016 03 17 – Students from Queen’s University celebrate St. Patrick’s
Day on Aberdeen Street. The original colour of St. Patrick is blue, after the
blue vestment he wore.

2016 03 18 – My earth ring sits on top of a sapphire sample provided by
Brad Wilson, one of the many mineral samples being studied in GEOL452. The
earth ring is similar to the iron ring, a symbol and reminder for those in
geology to conduct ethical practices.

2016 03 20 – A pigeon walks along the Murney Tower moat wall. Some
pigeons are trained for racing and can reach top speeds of 140 km/h.
